Here are some baby fun facts:
- Owen is an early riser. A really early riser. We're talking 4 a.m. wake-up calls. Once awake, he has a very specific routine you must follow. After changing his diaper and warming his bottle, you have to open the blinds on the front window, so he can make sure everything is in order in the neighborhood. While he is drinking his bottle, the front window must remain in view. After he has finished his 5 oz of milk and made sure everything is in order outside, he likes to take a morning nap in his bouncy seat.
- Maren has discovered her reflection. . . and likes what she sees. There is a mirror on our activity mat, and she can stare at that mirror forever! She smiles, coos and squeals. She just can't get enough of the pretty little girl looking back at her. And, who can blame her!
- Both babies are so much more aware of their environment now and like to know what's going on around them. We spend a lot of time walking around the house looking at really cool things like mirrors, ceiling fans and lamps. There is also constant narration of what we are doing. Owen and Maren are a great audience - they think everything we say is pretty entertaining.

The Thinker
Check out our sweat outfits! (Owen was upset because his was a little small, but he would have been way more upset if I would have tried to put a different outfit on him).
This is what stares up at me from the front pack.

Oh Katie they are SO cute! I can't believe just a few short Months ago Marley was this little!
ReplyDeleteAt work, we joke about those vibrating seats being reminiscent of the vibrating beds you'd find in a really old motel. Must be something relaxing about them! :)
